Lesson Plan for Friday February 25, 2011

Here's the agenda for today. Just a reminder that you will go to Miss Owens room at the start of class on Monday:

1. Opener: Staple "homework packet" in the following order from top to bottom (3 min):

• To the Finish Line / Newton's Laws of Motion Crossword
• Newton's Third Law
• Forces Unit Review
• Defining Force - ch. 12

2. Watch video on making tree maps (click here for video) (4 min)

3. Construct Tree Map of Notes on Newton's Three Laws (10 min)

• This should include definitions (long and short), examples, and other facts about each of the three laws
• Add color if you wish
• Staple this to the top of your "homework packet" and turn it into the bin.

4. Check your work on the Forces Review page (will be on overhead) (10 min)
5. Forces Test (30 min)
6. Work on egg drop plans and drawing w/ sources and annotated bibliography due Mon. (see wiki for requirements)
